A Real Fábrica de Tabacos de Sevilha é um imponente edifício neoclássico construído entre 1728 e 1771, sendo a maior construção industrial da Europa no século XVIII. Empregava mais de 10.000 pessoas, principalmente mulheres conhecidas como cigarreiras, incluindo a famosa Carmen, que inspirou a ópera de Bizet.Desde 1949, abriga a Universidade de Sevilha, mantendo a sua atmosfera histórica e aberta a visitas gratuitas, sendo um marco da história industrial e cultural da cidade.
